The Life Insurance Settlement Association Prepares For Two Separate Forums

ORLANDO, FL August is the month brokers and service providers in the burgeoning market of life settlements will have a unique opportunity. On August 7th the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA) will be presenting a Broker Summit. On August 28th there will be the Industry Services Forum. Both of these events are to be held in sunny and warm Orlando, Fla. They will both feature panel discussions, a marketplace exhibition and above all, plenty of opportunity for networking.

At the 2009 Broker Summit there will be the opportunity to join round table discussions with life insurance professionals and to actually help mold the future of the life settlement industry. At these round table discussions such topics as best practice models, licensing requirements, forms, reporting, and disclosures and other subjects will be discussed by Industry experts.

It is the goal of the 2009 Industry Services Forum to bring a greater focus on those companies that are providing services vital to the life settlement industry. Those who attend will learn how life settlement companies are utilizing a network of service providers to gain greater efficiency and compliance and to excel in the marketplace. Discussion panels on tax issues will be included in the forum in addition to discussions on securities law, industry data collection, privacy/HIPAA, and the licensing and registration of service providers.

LISA Executive Director Doug Head says that the LISA Board of Directors is actively addressing current industry issues at the present time. He adds that events such as these two forums, the Broker Summit and the Industry Services Forum, are providing industry players with the ideal environment for making known their concerns and for discussing ideas that will help in the development of a more efficient market and better service for consumers. He says that anyone who is an interested party should not miss out on this unique opportunity.
The Broker Summit on August 7th is open to LISA members and non-members alike. This all-day event will be held at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando.

The Industry Services Forum which takes place on August 28th will also be open to LISA members and non-members as well. Those business professionals who are thinking about entering this rapidly growing market are strongly encouraged to register for this one-day event which will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel which is located at the Orlando International Airport.

The complete agendas can be read online at www.thevoiceoftheindustry.com where it is also possible register for either event.
